Digital Vidya: What interested you in learning Digital Marketing?<\/h5>\n

Mallika:\u00a0<\/strong>During my net surfing I realized how large this digital industry is, so I ventured into\u00a0your internship to get a glimpse into the industry. One factor which also played a\u00a0role in deciding to go ahead with Digital Marketing internship was my perception\u00a0that internet is the thing of the present and the future. We are spending most of\u00a0our time on internet either for shopping or finding the nearest restaurant and find it\u00a0increasingly difficult to live without internet. So when customers are on internet,\u00a0business will have to come to this platform sooner or later.<\/p>\n

Digital Vidya:\u00a0Which module did you choose in Digital Vidya\u2019s Internship Programme?<\/h5>\n

Mallika:\u00a0<\/strong>I have interned with Digital Vidya for about 8 months & specialized in\u00a0Social Media Marketing (SMM) module.<\/p>\n

Digital Vidya: Please share top 3-5 takeaways from the Internship Programme you\u00a0participated at Digital Vidya.<\/h5>\n

Mallika:\u00a0<\/strong>A) I was exposed to a lot of new things\/experiences during the internship programme.<\/p>\n

B) I have much improved writing skills, all thanks to my seniors for diligently\u00a0finding out my little errors.<\/p>\n

C) I am aware of the digital industry, its parameters which are quite different from traditional media.<\/p>\n

Digital Vidya: Based on your learnings, what are the opportunities for Digital Marketing as\u00a0a career?<\/h5>\n

Mallika:\u00a0<\/strong>According to my experience during the internship programme<\/a>, I am certainly of the\u00a0view that Digital marketing is a sunrise industry in India especially when our PM as\u00a0introduced various schemes of Digital India, skilling of youngsters in this\u00a0profession can play a huge role in the Skill India scheme again introduced by this\u00a0new government. Another factor is India is experiencing a rise of start-ups in e-commerce and this will further increase the scale of Digital Marketing. Digital\u00a0Marketing is the soil through which e-commerce business will nourish its roots.<\/p>\n

Digital Vidya: Please share your experience in learning through the Research-based\u00a0Internship Programme.<\/h5>\n

Mallika:\u00a0<\/strong>I got to know about lot of things to which I was not at all aware earlier. And\u00a0because it was self-paced I could learn at my own will.<\/p>\n

Digital Vidya:\u00a0What did you like most about Digital Vidya\u2019s Research-based Internship\u00a0Programme?<\/h5>\n

Mallika:\u00a0<\/strong>I am sincerely thankful to Digital Vidya for granting me opportunities to attend two live\u00a0seminars<\/em> and write for them. It instilled a lot of confidence in me.<\/p>\n

Digital Vidya:\u00a0Do you suggest any changes to Digital Vidya so that the value of its\u00a0Internship Programme can be enhanced further?<\/h5>\n

Mallika:\u00a0<\/strong>I feel your internship programme is aimed at giving the interns a bird\u2019s eye view of the Digital\u00a0Industry. If I am correct, then your internship programme needs not much further\u00a0improvement. But if the objective is to give a detailed idea of the industry, then I feel the\u00a0programme falls short on many aspects because writing articles about something and doing\u00a0it practically are two different things.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
