Umang Bedi is the Managing Director – India & South Asia at Facebook, before that he was the Managing Director of the South Asia region for Adobe. In this role, he is responsible
\nfor Adobe\u2019s business operations that include growing the sales and marketing functions, driving
\nstrategic partnerships and alliances and driving cloud services opportunities within the enterprise,
\ngovernment, education and SMB sector in the South Asia region. In addition, Umang also leads
\npartnerships globally with the Indian offshore system integrators, which are aimed at growing Adobe\u2019s
\nDigital Marketing business across the globe
\nUmang has a strong understanding of enterprises and their needs in an evolving creative and digital
\neconomy. He is driving the adoption and growth of Adobe Creative, Marketing and Document Clouds
\nand helping customers transform their businesses in this digital, multiscreen and multichannel world
\nby enabling them to make, manage, measure and monetize their digital content.
\nUmang is an engineering graduate from University of Pune, an alumni of Harvard Business School
\nand the recipient of the prestigious \u201840 Under Forty: India’s Hottest Business Leaders Award 2014\u2019
\ngiven by The Economic Times and Spencer Stuart in 2014.
\nUmang is a member of the Government of India’s National e-Governance Program (NeGP), a Charter
\nMember of TiE and a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) in India. Umang is also a
\nmember of NASSCOM, Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), IMA, Direct Marketing
\nAssociation of India (DMAi), National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) and Gerson Lehrman Group\u02bcs
\nTechnology Council. Umang speaks regularly at important conferences and at IIT and IIM.
\nPrior to Adobe, Umang worked for Intuit Inc. as the Managing Director \u2013 India and Emerging Markets,
\nwhere he was responsible for leading the Global Business Division’s strategic expansion into
\nemerging markets. Before Intuit, Umang was the Business Head of the Banking, Financial Services and
\nIT verticals at Symantec India. In this role, he helped grow the business by over triple digits, year-onyear.
\nUmang has also held leadership roles at other organizations like Sun Microsystems and Wipro.
\nUmang is based in Bangalore and while not at work he enjoys golf, photography, travel and
\nexploration of new destinations with his wife and daughter.<\/p>\n
